A Series of Unfortunate Events is a popular collection of books by author Lemony Snicket. In the thirteen books, the three Baudelaire children experience tragedy and mishap usually at the hands of their uncle; Count Olaf. These book covers are a mix of original illustrations and photographic texture to reinforce the gritty dreariness of the books. The hand drawn type adds an illustrative, childlike tone to the covers while highlighting a key element of the story and the unfortunate adventures of its characters.
